Lake Balaton and its award-winning beaches are just a few steps away (300 m). After a healthy breakfast, enjoy the green enviroment,relax at the heated pool in the garden, enjoy the sauna or head out to a nearby hotspot for activities.
The guesthouse underwent a major renovation inside and outside in 2021 in order to make your stay just the way you imagined. The adults-only concept will guarrantee a laid back stay, no stress, no noise, no worries. Spend the day next to the pool in the garden, or head out to the beach next door, You and your loved one will have the choice every day. Trips in the area or around Lake Balaton will also be a welcomed alternatives after a few days under the sun.
The beauty of Lake Balaton will steal your heart at first sight, but to experience the feeling locals call home, you need to head out on a guided sailing boat during the day or at sunset. You can discover the exciting spots in the surroundings or make a half-day bike tour to one of the vineyards nearby. After a long and eventful day, an inviting, newly-built panoramic sauna in the garden or a relaxing full-body massage will round up your day at Lorelei.

The charming village of Gyenesdiás became one of the top holiday destinations at Lake Balaton in recent years due to its award-winning beaches, programs all year round, farmer’s markets and the many ways one can actively spend a day. Gyenesdiás is only 2 km away from Keszthely and 7 km from the world famous thermal spa destination Hévíz. The Hévíz-Balaton International Airport (SOB) can be reached by a 20 minute ride. Budapest (BUD) and Vienna (VIE) Airports are located 200 km away.
Gyenesdiás and its beaches are surrounded by peaceful and picturesque nature, the hills of the Keszthely mountains to the north, and the waves of Lake Balaton to the south. Those who like to keep active during a holiday will find plenty of places to visit. Hiking, biking, and canoeing are all at your doorstep.
The Balaton bikeway runs behind the guesthouse, so you can easily reach Keszthely and admire the exhibition of Hungary’s most visited castle - the Festetics Palace.
